Hello everyone! I am Khatija It’s a great privilege to introduce myself as this year’s president of the nursing society at the University of Huddersfield. I am a second-year student and I am thrilled to work alongside the future nursing leaders.
I was introduced to community service in my younger years and in collaboration with my local council. This year I intend to continue providing leadership, networking and community opportunities that will provide profession growth to all nursing students.
I love taking photographs and hold a great interest in space. I tend to linger on Pinterest and enjoy personal blogs. I am excited to meet all of you and if I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hi! My name is Takudzwa and I am the vice president of the adult nursing society. This year I hope to be a part of a society that is both fun and educational so that we can let our true selves shine. I also would like us as a society to create happy memories with one another because we will never get this chance again, so why not make the most of it? It’s probably the cheesiest thing you’ve read but it is the truth. Most importantly, I hope that together we can create an atmosphere where you know that your views and ideas matter. Having said that, please let us know if you have any suggestions for the society, all ideas are welcome.
Hi everyone! I’m Sarah Gillian and I am the secretary for the adult nursing society. I chose to take on this role as I believe that, as we embark on our exciting new careers, we should come together and help each other through the course. I don’t believe we should think of each other as simply “colleagues” or “co-students”, but we should create lasting friendships and support each other socially as well as professionally. Hopefully by creating extracurricular activities we can enable this. We are open to all your suggestions to make the society work for you, so please feel free to get in touch!
