Did you see my last blog about our first ever campus-wide Peer Mentoring Awards? If not, you can check it out here!
We now have a date for our first awards evening: 13 March 2019.
There are three awards up for grabs. Two of them are to be nominated for by staff and academics, but one of them is for you, Huddersfield students, to let us know where you think a Peer Mentor has gone above and beyond to help their peers - that's the Outstanding Contribution to Peer Mentoring Award for Peer Mentors. If you're a Peer Mentor yourself and believe you deserve this award, you're welcome to self-nominate.
We're really excited to hear about your experiences with Peer Mentoring, whether you're a Mentor yourself or a student who's benefitted from it. Make your nomination here!
Remember, this is an event to celebrate all Peer Mentors, supporting staff, and their contributions. If you're a Mentor, this evening is for you! We'll be individually recognising every Mentor who's signed up the SU's Peer Mentoring scheme so far.
Want to find out more about Peer Mentoring? One of our Peer Mentors, Viltare Repsyte, wrote a blog earlier this week about her experiences - and why she thinks Peer Mentoring is so important! Check it out.
