Huddersfield Student is the University of Huddersfield Students’ Union very own newspaper, with 7 copies per year; it’s a great read for all things Uni!

Ben Hall, 2009/2010 newspaper editor told us:

There is always so much going on in the Students’ Union or around the University people might not even realise. The Huddersfield Student, our very own newspaper (which you can also find online) is here to keep you informed on what’s coming and what’s been so you can keep up to date with all you need to know.
The newspaper is an important part of any university. It’s the student population’s independent voice and is there for them as readers or to showcase their talents. The Huddersfield Student is always aiming to move forward and we’re always on the look out for talented new writers, photographers and designers.

Now more than ever for anyone wanting to pursue a career in journalism or the media, experience is of the utmost importance. The Huddersfield Student is there to give such people relevant, hands-on experience that they can use to develop their skills, and put on their CV.
