An NUS Extra Card is completely unique in the discounts it entitles its holder to receive. With your ‘normal’ student card, yes you can get certain discounts from certain retailers. However, the NUS Extra card is the only card that will get you money off when you buy online from just £11 until August – you can practically get your money back in just a couple of weeks!

Graduate Extra

The Graduate Extra Card is valid for one year after you graduate from university and is only £15! It boasts offers and career support services from the best of graduate partners including Very, Lipsy, The Savile Row, Zizzi, Cartridge King, Boots, Asda, Comet and loads loads more!

How do I get mine?

At Huddersfield Students' Union, we offer two ways to buy NUS Extra Cards

Firstly, you can purchase a card online via the NUS Extra website, from any computer with internet access. You will need to upload a photograph (either a digital photo or take one with a webcam) and make a Debit/Card Card payment of £11. Your NUS Extra card will then be sent to the SU Reception (within 7 days) - remember to bring your campus card for ID.

Secondly, if you wish to make a cash payment, or need some help with signing up there is a dedicated NUS Extra computer and webcam at the SU Reception desk which is available between 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
