Vice President Communications & Democracy who set up the radio station in 2007 with President Matt Christie and has recently created Huddersfield Students’ Union very first TV Station … HTV!

Kieran promised in his manifesto last year that he would yet again push forward student media and now OMG (One Media Group) is finally on its way!

We have 3 ways you can get involved in our student union media:

Successful Radio Station – Radiohudd
Monthly newspaper – Huddersfield Student And BRAND NEW this year
Our very first TV Station – HTV

It’s fine to get involved with just one of our media stations but to keep up with the continual changing media landscape you should think of sharing your news story across all platforms – from podcasts to blogs.

Our next media meeting is at 530pm on Tuesday 21st March in the Students’ Union Café and over the next year we will be incorporating sessions to help you gain skills within student union media. A student media training day will be created for the first time in June this year, which will run in sync with our sports and activity training days, which were successful last year.
