Newsome Panthers JARLFC – media projects and volunteer physios required for their junior rugby club.

Newsome Panthers JARFLFC provides training and competition for junior rugby players from the age of 6 all the way through to under 16s. Since they have been in operation they have had many great successes with their teams and individual players. They are always looking for ways to improve what they already have and one of their undertakings for the forthcoming season is to go into schools to coach young children and to get them involved in rugby league.

At present the club are looking to introduce a scheme where they engage students in the club to work alongside them to assist in areas of coaching, first aiding and physiotherapy. They would like to widen their operation to provide dietary advice and a service to look into suitable treatment and rehabilitation for those who are in need.

In return, the club will support you by providing a CRB Check (a legal requirement for anyone working with minors), work experience in areas of coaching, first aid, dietary matters, treatment and rehabilitation, and support and advice to help students in their life skills and studies.
