► Communities United Project

This is a registered charity which uses the popularity of sport as a means of engaging young people in positive activities and therefore diverting those at risk away from anti-social behaviour. The projects also allow volunteers to get involved with their local community.

They have a wide variety of projects, not just to do with sport. You could work with their staff to run weekly sports, dance or arts and crafts sessions, and get training as you go along.

They require:
• Football coaches
• Multi-sports coaches
• Street dance assistants
• Helpers for one-off events
• Marketing support assistants
