Are you looking for something fun and different to do whilst you are at university?

Why not join the University Archery Club!

As both an Olympic and Paralympic sport the University of Huddersfield Archery Club aims to make their club available to all.

Through both competition in our League and BUCS we shoot against different Universities, outside of this we attend ‘open’ competitions including the County Championships.

We run beginners courses for people who are new to archery in both September and January, once they have completed the beginner’s course they have the opportunity to compete in the novice section of the student archery leagues, for archers in their first year of shooting. If you are not in your first year of shooting you will be offered the opportunity to shoot as an Experienced Archer.

Through our practices, social events and competitions we aim to make the club welcoming to all and in a survey conducted last year one of our members commented that

“The atmosphere within the club is very welcoming to new and returning members, which is great to experience”

The membership fee for 2011/12 is £55 for New Members and £45 for Returning Members
