► Afro Carribean Society

Every University in the UK has an Afro Caribbean Society (ACS) and as such Huddersfield University should be no exception. The main purpose of the society is to enlighten Afro Caribbeans about Afro Caribbean ways, values, cultures and most importantly history.

Previously the ACS partook in a fashion show which some of you will remember as Radical Eon. We have also collaborated with other ACS’ in different Universities within the West Yorkshire area to host social events.

For this current year, with NEW officials and enthusiasm we hope to make (for any prospective members) your University experience more memorable by hosting events with the Student’s Union and other ACS’ such as a variety night, trips away etc.

We meet on the first week of every month with specific dates to be announced at a later time.
