The 'Unofficial NUS (But not NUS) Hustings'

Your UHSU has made the move to continue a tradition established by Huddersfield last year and have organised an unofficial question time for all candidates standing in the elections for the national executive of the NUS.

The positions that will be in attendance will consist of the candidates for:

1. National President (full-time)

2. Vice President Higher Education (full-time)

3. Vice President Further Education (full-time)

4. Vice President Welfare (full-time)

5. Vice President Union Development (full-time)

6. Vice President Society and Citizenship (full-time) and,

7. The Block of 15 (part-time)

This event will be an opportunity for all students on campus and elected officers from any other Students' Union across the country to ask the big questions of the possible future leadership of the national movement of students - what direction should we move next? What is the next step in the fight for Higher Education? Can we get past the failure of the national demonstration? Come down and ask them what they think.
