THE 2010/11 STUDENTS' UNION ELECTION


The Election for the academic year 2010/11 will take place between 8th to 10th March 2010.

• Union Council Chair
• Union Councillor (x5)

For Barnsley Campus Only:

• Chair
• Committee Member (x3)

For Oldham Campus Only:

• Chair
• Committee Member (x3)

These roles are wide ranging and far reaching with the aim of representing students’ at all levels within the University and have an important role to play in ensuring that every student voice is heard loud and clear.

Being a part-time officer means that alongside your course, you volunteer a small amount of your free time to be part of the decision making team, ensuring that the needs and wants of the students you represent are taken into account.

It’s a great opportunity to make a difference to the student experience in Huddersfield, Oldham & Barnsley – if you don’t fancy standing in the election, why not give your support by voting for the students who do!
