► Safety Bus

Huddersfield is generally a safe place to live but you are advised to be aware of your personal safety. The purpose of the Safety Bus service is to transport students from the University Campus to private accommodation within the Huddersfield area.

The Safety Bus now operates from 6pm to 12 midnight 7 days a week and departs from outside the front of the Students' Union.

*Journeys over 6 miles are at the drivers discretion.

Please note:

Timetable operates term time only, and is subject to change.
Departure times approximate as journey times vary.
Should the Graduate be running an event that finishes later than midnight, the Safety Bus hours will be extended until The Graduate closes.
Storthes Hall students can only access the midnight Safety Bus run.
Any major service changes will be advertised on campus and on this webpage.

The Safety Bus is run by the Student Advice and Information Centre, University of Huddersfield Students' Union.
