So you’ve seen the long list of societies and sport clubs and you haven’t found what you were looking for? Don’t panic, you can always set up your own activity group with our support. There are a few simple steps you need to take to register your group with the Students’ Union.
Read our Student Activities Handbook it’s a useful guide with information about running your own group, which will explain how things work, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
Download and complete the key documents required to register an activity group
Send completed documents to the Student Activities Team at email@example.com so your Grant and Ratification Pack can be considered by the Student Activities Executive. We will also request a one to one meeting to discuss your Health and Safety Pack while you await SAE decision.
While we process your application, start thinking about your webpage on the SU website. Your online presence is important as it will allow students to find out what your group is all about. Make sure to prepare description and a logo for your group as this way we will be able to get your page up and running as soon as your group has been ratified.
